SECURITY SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: This position provides the United States Air Force with a unique capability to plan, organize, coordinate and employ special operations in support of sensitive, compartmented, and special access missions directed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF). The incumbent is the deputy principle Security Officer for assigned programs to the Special Access Program (SAP) Commander on all matters pertaining to the oversight for personnel, information, physical, operations, special access, and special category security program functions in accordance with DoD, Joint Air Force-Army-Navy and Air Force regulations, directives, and other security related publications. DUTY 1: Implements and administers the Information Security Program for the Command. Provides direction and guidance for the personnel administering the Information Security Program.
