Computer Scientist, AST, Data Analysis (Direct Hire)

Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Construct, test, and maintain data architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems. Ensure that data is accessible and in a usable format for analysis, supporting data-driven decision-making. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and information technology specialist teams to develop data ingestion routines from various sources and ensures that these systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. Use statistical and analytical tools to review and interpret data, and to determine the appropriate amount of data that would be needed to support conclusions with specific levels of statistical confidence.
