Registered Nurse (Patient Safety Clinician)

The RN (Patient Safety Clinician) provides direct staff support to leadership and other staff members in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and evaluating the effectiveness of program components and/or services to improve the quality of patient care and the appropriateness and timeliness of services provided. Patient Safety Clinician is involved in teaching individuals, teams, and interdisciplinary groups and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Aggregate Root Cause Analysis (ARCA),Healthcare Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (HFMEA), Patient Safety Assessment Tool (PSAT) and Patient Safety Program requirements. Duties include but are not limited to: Actively supporting the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) and the Chief, Patient Safety in promulgating and promoting the direction, functions, goals and plans. Serving as an organizational consultative resource for the Patient Safety Program. Teaching Patient Safety principles and processes to STVHCS Leadership, Staf
