SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER

Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates activities necessary to the overall management of a diverse and comprehensive weapons safety program supporting a complex multi-mission MAJCOM which critically affect a major military readiness program. Performs periodic inspections, evaluations, and surveys of wing-level weapons operations and related facilities, equipment, and training programs. Evaluates and coordinates on formal investigations of reportable and non-reportable mishaps involving a wide range of military operations and conditions related to explosives systems, missile systems, and/or weapons ranges. Develops ACC policies and procedures to support MAJCOM mission based on interpretation of AF instructions and DoD standards applicable to nuclear and conventional explosive safety.
