About the role
You will independently plan, estimate, and coordinate extensive industrial engineering projects and studies relating to development, implementation and maintenance of assigned units and facilities/resources. You will determine and revise work operations, labor and material standards, inspection requirements, quality standards, workflow standards, and shop facilities required. You will prepare detailed recommendations, justifications, and specifications for accomplishing any significant changes in process or layout. You will participate in management discussions, providing advice and assistance. You will identify ships components using technical work documents and drawings, coordinate and schedule inspections, repair, and open tank and confined spaces.
