About the role
You will manage the overall departmental workforce development requirements of all trade personnel throughout the production resources department. You will review ne and refresher training needs for availability of required trade skills and work force for all upcoming projects. You will recommend manning and workforce allocation in support of the trade's workforce development strategy/plan. You will manage the workforce development material budget and labor costs; maintaining continuous contact with the Continuing Training and Development Manager (CTDM) informing them on training needs for potential and accepted work. You will ensure a trained workforce based on the forecasted workload, using competency management as a common element. You will determine schedule for conducting trade skills proficiency assessments, and conducting workforce development program reviews to implement improvements. You will collaborate with the Nuclear Director and non-Nuclear Director to understand the need
