Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist

Serves as senior subject matter expert and provide staff level advice and technical expertise on implementing policies, identifying recurring problems and trends and analyzing specific transportation issues. Plans, directs, and implements the transportation management program in one of Transportation's Regional Teams. Coordinates and implements transportation management services which meet all regulatory and technical/administrative requirements for a wide variety of contracts and commodities. Utilizes extensive transportation and contract knowledge to justify agency policies, obtain resources, and negotiate with contractors to ensure compliance. Acts as the liaison between management, legal representatives, government contractors, military program managers, and various buying activities.
