About the role
Major duties for this position includes but is not limited to: The incumbent for this position will have: Ability to present general subject information in a visual form that conveys the intended message/effect to the desired audience. Knowledge of methods, techniques, and materials used in design and production in a timely manner. Basic knowledge of specialized subject matter, such as medicine and science. Ability to select photos, illustrations, or other visual materials from provided documents. Determine the appropriate typefaces and sizes, prepare layouts, and present materials to a group to create a visual product. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Experience: (Not Required) Experience as a commercial graphic designer, artist, or illustrator, determining the ability to create, design, and lay out copies and artwork.
