Physician (General Practice)

Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) requirements and Privacy Act data protection standards, including USMEPCOM, Department of Defense and applicable service regulations and directives. Reviews medical records, performing detailed medical histories and physicals in accordance with Department of Defense standards, evaluation of labs, completion and accurate profiling; and communicates with consultants and Service waiver authorities. Reviews the results of all diagnostic testing performed in the MEPS medical department for disqualifying issues. Conducts complete face-to-face medical histories on applicants who have completed the prescreen process as above and been authorized to process. Evaluates for injuries, deformities, defects, disorders, etc. of all systems including dental, psychiatric and behavioral disorders and a standardized orthopedic-neurological examination.
