Customer Service Representative (Correctional) (Customer Service Representative)

Serves as a Customer Service Representative overseeing the Optics Factory customer orders. Responsible for planning, developing, maintaining and revising customer service procedures to ensure the efficient and expeditious handling of customer orders. Provides expert advice in responding to customer inquiries about the Optics Factory, its products and services. These include areas such as product description, price quotes, availability of products, request for catalogs and sales literature, quality problems and order status. Must draw on a thorough knowledge and technical understanding of Optics products and services. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
