About the role
As a High Voltage Electrician, you may perform the following duties: Assist in the performance of the full range of work involved in the maintenance, installation, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Install, replace, and/or repair poles, insulators, beakers, fuses, conductors, primary and secondary transformers, brackets, switch gears, meters and a variety of other fixtures and hardware. Operate a bucket truck to transport self, co-workers and supplies to and from work sites. Work with energized lines up to 34,400 volts (majority of work is performed on 12,470 volt lines. Works with interior journeyman electrician in performance of interior electrical installation and repair.
