Pipefitter

Installs and repairs items on the above systems and equipment such as valves, fittings, traps, fixtures, drains, etc. Works from building plans, blueprints and sketches, and oral orders to plan and lay out the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure, reductions, expansions, slope, and proper operation of various piping systems and equipment. Maintains therapeutic swimming pool equipment such as heating and proper circulating of the water Places the equipment at the proper level and points in the system, and joining, sealing and testing systems and equipment for proper pressure, leak-free joints and operation.
