About the role
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-11. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Training Instructor, you will: Present and adapt technical training courses for new and current NARA employees and business partners with varying needs and capabilities. Develop and deliver basic non-technical training (e.g. telephone skills, stress management, customer service) using readily available reference materials. Manage self-paced learning activities in the MPR laboratory; recommend and administer appropriate computer-based instruction, video recordings, or books; assist employees while monitoring individual progress. Consult with employees, supervisors and the Training Specialist to determine remedial or developmental needs. Develop and deliver related technical (NPRC-related) and non-technical training courses or modules.
