SUPERVISORY HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST

Exercise managerial authority to set near, short, and long-range plans, goals, and objectives affecting cost management programs. Manage division activities and guides policy related to the assigned responsibilities of the division. Serve on numerous Defense Health Agency (DHA) policy Work Groups and Committees to ensure tri-service standardization. Review and validate business workflows for the electronic health record and the billing and revenue management platform for DHA enterprise use and efficiency. Assign work to Branch Leads/Program Managers and/or individual positions reporting directly, ranging in grade GS-7 up to and including GS-15s, balancing workload and focusing resources.
