About the role
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position. Performs extensive research and conducts program analyses to determine mission/program effectiveness, identify issues and program impediments and establish courses of action necessary to enhance program effectiveness. Develops and researches potential program revisions and solicits input from the HCO and other senior officials within the Service. Analyzes and identifies the ramifications of new initiatives and, when applicable, coordinates initiatives with the appropriate stakeholders. Demonstrates expert technical knowledge in multiple business functional areas including but not limited to policy analysis, program oversight, evaluation activities, strategic planning, and research coordination.
