What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will be responsible for providing enterprise leadership for FEMA's incident workforce generation mission. Further, position directs a headquarters branch that plans, manages, and supports FEMA's incident workforce so the agency has the right mix of trained, ready, and deployable personnel across employee types and components. Typical assignments include: Directing daily operations of the Workforce Generation Branch, supervising staff, setting priorities, reviewing work products, and ensuring alignment with Field Operations Directorate and Workforce Management Division objectives. Overseeing the use and improvement of workforce planning models and tools, reviewing data on incident staffing and readiness, and adjusting force structure recommendations based on operational demand and strategic guidance.
