About the role
Maintain and operate the natural gas distribution system to include high pressure regulators, meters, valves and distribution system piping network. Maintain meter, and perform diagnostic tests to calibrate readings, pressures, flow and reset errors Monitor the measurement of odorant injected into the distribution system. Respond to emergency calls of gas smell, determine the cause and evacuates the area when required. Perform pipeline construction and maintenance work utilizing various hand and/or power tools and equipment. Install, maintain and repair exterior electrical wiring systems, lighting systems, distribution panels and outlet boxes. Operate man lifts, bucket trucks, backhoes, and dump trucks.
