LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Provides oversight of proposed complex contractual actions with up to unlimited Contracting Officer authority. Leads team to integrate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, values, and goals in daily work processes. Ensures adequacy of acquisition planning, competition in contracting, price/cost analysis, and small business utilization. Administers sophisticated contractual techniques such as complex contract structures with incentives and cost sharing arrangements. Assures standards are maintained and laws, policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to.
