RECREATION ASSISTANT (FAMCAMP)

Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: May 21, 2026, May 31, 2026, and closing on Jun 10, 2026. Announcement will close once position is filled. Under the direction of the Leisure and Recreation Program Chief or next level supervisor, executes the day to day operation of the Manatee Cove FamCamp and recreational lodging facilities. Responsible for budgets and accurately forecasting recapitalization. Utilizes RecTrac or other government provided computer software for point of sales systems for both the FamCamp and recreational lodging. Assigns tasks and relays directions to on duty staff, and explains requirements, methods and procedures to properly accomplish assigned tasks. Serves as the retail agent for the FamCamp and recreation lodging by completing customer sales, reservations, and performing a full range of cash management and accountability duties to include processing cash, check and credit card payments.
