GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Manages the procurement of necessary supplies and services to ensure the timely fulfillment of the organization's operational needs. Maintains warehouse/ storage areas and conducts scheduled and non-scheduled periodic, semi-annual, cyclic, and special physical inventories $7.8M (+/-) in property, non-expendable and durable supplies in use, on loan, in storage, or awaiting disposition. Performs comprehensive screening of purchase requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and the approval of all prerequisite forms before initiating procurement actions. Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, related functions, and operating officials.
