About the role
Acts as a technical expert system network analyst under minimal direction of a manager or executive. Works independently performing multiple, varying and complex activities. Broad policies and objectives provide general guidance, but require the innovation for developing new or modified procedures and approaches taking into consideration FAA policies, government-wide regulations, and industry standards. Acts as a liaison to Operations Support (AJW-1), NextGen and PMO in defining Enterprise needs/requirements to acquisition programs. Works directly with AJW-1 and PMO from development through implementation of new/modified systems/services to insure operational readiness prior to integration into the NAS. Acts as an Enterprise expert in support of systems/services across the NASEO Directorate. Provides 24/7 operational support for NAS systems through monitoring, and overseeing critical services. Provides emergency technical assistance to return network communications programs and systems
