About the role
Supervise and manage end-to-end acquisition processes, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of goods and services. Ensures all acquisition activities comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency policies, and applicable laws. Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization. Monitor and manage the acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and adherence to financial guidelines. Prepare and present regular updates on acquisition activities, including progress, challenges, risks, and recommendations for improvement, including developing mitigation strategies for executive leadership briefings. Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization. Collaborate with GSA's acquisition team and OPM's procurement team on acquisition activities.
