About the role
The Aviation Technical Systems Manager serves as the Director of the Service Center, ensuring timely and quality support services are provided to ATO service units and facilities within the service area. The position is at the highest non-executive managerial level which manages the work of a large, multi-level organization typically through subordinate managers. As the ATO's primary point of contact for support services in the Service Area, the manager will interact with high level executives both inside and outside the Federal government to include FAA, ATO, Department of Defense, local and national law enforcement, the military, the private sector, members of Congress and their staffs in the regions and headquarters, and other principal agencies both local and national.
