Cytology Technician

Cytology Technician performs specialized, difficult, delicate, and demanding procedures and techniques, in preparing a great variety of cytologic specimens from many body sites. Operate, calibrates, maintains and troubleshoots all cytology analyzers. Verifies correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks (i.e., background checks, optic checks, temperature checks, pipet checks). Perform and documents performance of daily staining quality control and maintenance procedures.
