About the role
In this role as a Senior Special Counsel, you will be responsible for: Interpreting requirements for available exemptions from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, including Regulation A, Regulation Crowdfunding, and Regulation D. Providing guidance to the public on rules and regulations relating to small businesses, including exemptions from registration and smaller public company disclosure requirements. Participating in rulemaking projects impacting small businesses. Providing assistance to Division staff on filing reviews of Regulation A or other offerings implicating small business issues. Researching and developing ideas and providing advice and recommendations on significant issues under the Federal securities laws in the absence of precedent. Serving as subject-matter expert and technical lead on legal and policy projects.
