Supervisory Attorney-Adviser (Contract)

Serves as Supervisory Acquisition Counsel for DLA Weapons Support and senior member of DLA General Counsel – Weapons Support under the supervision of the DLA Weapons Support (Columbus) Deputy Chief Counsel. Advises the DLA Weapons Support Commander, Deputy Commander, Acquisition Executive, and senior management on complex acquisition-related legal and policy issues. Provides legal advice, assistance, and representation in contract matters for supply, logistics, and acquisition support. Manages delivery of professional legal services in support of the DLA Weapons Support acquisition mission. Legal adviser and representative on acquisition, to include contract authority, delegations, commercial item and competitive contracting, contract review, foreign acquisition, pricing, source selection, fiscal law, and protests. Advise contract administration matters, including delivery and quality, performance, and terminations. Advise legal, policy, and business issues of unusual difficulty where
