Program Specialist

Major duties include but are not limited to:- Oversees and, when needed, directly assists with the day-to-day implementation of new Connected Care initiatives programs at SFV AMC. In cooperation with involved clinical services and sites, incumbent is able to assume the leading role in planning, development and maintenance of specific telemedicine programs. Identifies learning needs of staff and trains key end users and educates other stakeholders. Serves as a key resource and first point of contact for SFVAMC clinical services that wish to participate in telemedicine or that have active programs in need of assistance. Works with clinical leaders, IRMS, Biomedical Engineering and the Information Security Officer to implement telemedicine goals as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Provides back-up assistance for other telehealth programs at SFV AMC, including home telehealth/care coordination.
