About the role
As a IT PROJECT MANAGER (INFOSEC) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as an expert Project Manager responsible for organizing, planning, budgeting, developing, coordinating, establishing, and directing highly complex IT and cybersecurity plans, projects, and policies to meet organizational objectives amid a rapidly evolving technological environment. The incumbent provides authoritative technical and project management expertise and ensures alignment with Department of War (DoW) strategies and IT governance processes. As a project manager, the incumbent has independent decision-making authority, possess strategic leadership capabilities, and uses an expert knowledge of IT systems, acquisition, and program management principles. Serves as a key advisor to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), advising leadership on how emerging cybersecurity architectures and new IT security developments will impact the agency's project portfolio and strategic goals
