SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS PLANNING SPECIALIST (INSTRUCTOR)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the section. Also serves as an Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU) Course Manager/Senior Instructor and subject matter expert. Responsible for oversight of AOC FTU courses training students on operational level warfare command and control through the five divisions of the AOC, supervising course instructors, coordinating and de-conflicting training schedules, supervising course execution, and performing the role of subject matter expert as the senior course instructor. Duty 1 - Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of AOC FTU courses, ensuring that the section complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs Duty 2 - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Duty 3 - Obtains and maintains qualifications as an AOC process and/or weapon
