Supervisory Grants Management Specialist

What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist. Typical assignments include: Providing complex administrative, technical, or professional services including grant awards, amendments, and extensions to existing grants. Reviewing grant applications, financial monitoring, cash-on-hand analyses, auditing resolutions, as well as closeouts for all disaster and non-disaster grants. Conducting regular meetings to resolve controversial problems. Working closely with grantees to ensure that grant projects and activities are targeted towards risks and capability needs. Providing grant program application guidance to eligible applicants (states, tribal, local governments, fire departments, non-government organizations, private sector: and citizen groups) and monitoring selected grants to ensure that projects comply with polices, guidance, and standards established by FEMA.
