About the role

Independently manages the installation, repair, and decommissioning of complex medical equipment within a Medical Treatment Facility. Applies electronic and pneumatic theories to diagnose unprecedented malfunctions in high-acuity medical systems. Performs lead-level maintenance and calibration on sophisticated Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, and X-ray imaging units. Executes precision repair and performance testing on ventilators, defibrillators, and anesthesia systems. Configures and integrates medical device hardware and software with hospital networks and Digital Imaging Network - Picture Archiving and Communications Systems. Resolves complex connectivity and data integration issues for networked diagnostic and monitoring systems. Ensures all equipment maintenance meets The Joint Commission, College of American Pathologists, Safe Medical Devices Act, and Code of Federal Regulations regulatory safety standards.
