About the role

As a Supervisory Mission Support Specialist, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security Individuals involved in supervising a team that plans and carries out a wide variety of mission support, workforce management, administrative research, and program planning activities related to the missions and functions of the division. This position starts at a salary of $121,585.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,062.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Typical duties of this assignment include: Developing and modifying workforce management methods, approaches, and procedures for delivering effective services; developing and delivering briefings, project papers, statuses, and staff reports to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Generating and maintaining various reports, providing updated staffing information, and managing tickler reports and staffing tables; coordinating with supervisors and staff to ensure receipt of documents and actions are completed in a timely manner.
