BUDGET ANALYST

Performs budget formulation work involving preparation and detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations/programs into a consolidated budget request Performs recurring budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding, such as direct and reimbursable annual, multi-year, and no-year appropriations, apportionment, allotments, refunds, etc. Provides advice, insight, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information. Devises and recommends the adoption of procedures to implement budgetary processes, policies, instructions/regulations, and fiscal law issued by MAJCOM or AF and GAO. Assists in conducting analysis, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information.
