About the role
You will: Lead Branch activities in technical and science policy analyses to support regulatory and non-regulatory programs relating to the review and risk management of new chemicals and interpreting the impact of changes in regulation. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities to foster an environment that empowers employees to participate in and contribute to mission success. Lead team-based research across diverse scientific fields to advance organizational objectives and develop new framework or assessment paradigm. Serve as a consultant on workgroups, panels or committees to establish and maintain partnerships. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
