About the role
The incumbent will apply multidisciplinary technical and analytical experience in managing the assigned program areas in providing sound advice and guidance to the Director, senior leaders within the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety organization, and other internal and external organizations. Coordinates the development and implementation of strategic management goals with ASH Managers. Serves as the focal point for Headquarters Division Managers on technical and administrative issues which impact AXP. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with FAA organizational elements, other agencies, and industry. Provides leadership in the development of security policy, employee and contractor vetting, risk management, and credential management to ensure a safe and secure FAA.
