MWR Engineering Technician (Project Manager)

1. As Project Manager for design or other engineering services, the incumbent performs administrative and technical project management. As Project Manager for projects performed in-house (MWR), ensures that siting and concept planning are compatible with the activity master plan. Plans and participates in conferences to decide on functional requirements for assigned projects. Identifies areas of special concern pertaining to the specific project, environmental impact, energy conservation, economic analysis, safety, physical handicap criteria, activity maintenance procedures and policies, site utility adequacy, connections and outages, etc. Coordinates technical and administrative requirements with local, state or other authorities when necessary, obtaining necessary approval actions. Reviews established regulations, codes, standards, schedules and priorities. Convenes and attends such meetings with concerned personnel and agencies as required to effectively decide on the optimum course
