About the role
Major Duties: Assist journeymen in the installation and repair of plumbing lines, waste lines, plumbing fixtures, valve pumps, and controls. Sweats, glues, and joins a variety of materials together (copper, steel, aluminum, and PVC). Assist journeymen in the construction, fabrication, and repairs of various facilities using lumber, cement block, and formed steel reinforced concrete. Installs and repairs doors, windows, siding, flooring, sheetrock, and other finish materials. Operates motor vehicles, forklifts, and boats to 45 feet. Use zero-turn mowers and weed eaters to maintain park grounds on remote islands. Empties trash and recycling bins throughout the park. Removes old stumps, nonnative plants, and rehabilitate the grounds. Assist with safety measures and programs by tracking chemical usage, inputting data into the systems, SDS tracking sheets, and chemical inventory.
