About the role
The major duties of the Administrative Officer (AO) position include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as the lead for the Pueblo Parks Shared Services that supports Bandelier National Monument and Valles Caldera National Preserve in administrative, human resources, and information technology functions. Serve on the leadership team of both Bandelier and Valles Caldera to help plan, analyze, and monitor the formulation and development of complex and/or highly sensitive park-wide plans, programs, procedures, operating policies, and internal controls. Supervise a budget analyst, information technology specialist, administrative operations specialist (HR), and administrative assistant (property and general admin); and indirectly oversee four additional support staff.
