About the role
You will direct and lead logistics and industrial efforts, making significant decisions on the allocation of Naval Aviation resources. You will oversee comprehensive logistics programs for complex weapon systems, from "cradle to grave," integrating supply, maintenance, and procurement. You will identify, defend, and manage resource requirements, including multi-million-dollar budgets, manpower, and facilities. You will serve as a second/higher-level supervisor, responsible for the overall health and efficiency of the logistics organization and managing subordinate supervisors. You will develop logistics proposals, establish capabilities for customers, and institute initiatives to reduce Naval Aviation support costs. You will interact with high-level personnel, including Flag Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) members, DoD officials, and industry contractors, to negotiate, present information, and ensure program goals are met.
