Housekeeping Aid Supervisor- - Environmental Service Technician Supervisor

This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing task (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the EMS goals and objectives. Tours of duty may vary depending on the internal department needs with weekdays, weekends, day and evening shift schedules. Major Duties: Estimates and assigns time, equipment, material and manpower required for each assignment and project. Informs higher level supervisors of the need to revise work schedules, re-estimating, labor, and other reasoning.
