Student Trainee (Chemistry)

As a Student Trainee (Chemistry), the incumbent will work under closer supervision performing assignments and completing training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to: Assist chemistry laboratory personnel in the routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, and maintains some of the equipment independently. Apply proper laboratory techniques necessary to achieve accurate reproducible analysis in a scientific and safe manner. Perform routine testing of material using instrumental analytical techniques and in most cases performs the test independently. Apply of basic concepts and work processes, to the technical aspects of chemistry.
