FIRST OFFICER

You will serve as A Deck Department Head responsible for the effective and efficient management and supervision of deck department personnel. You will serve as a ships' safety officer, training officer, damage control officer, security officer, oil spill coordinator and gas free engineer. You will be accountable for all matters pertaining to management, operations, care, safety and physical condition of topside operations. You will be responsible for ships fiscal management and adherence to ships budget. You will supervise all subordinate deck personnel to include discipline, uniform standards/hygiene, assignment to watch and berthing, and personnel awards.
