About the role
Use computer and peripheral equipment to establish baseline and annual hearing thresholds in support of the Hearing Conservation Program. Ensure hearing testing results are posted in the electronic medical record and in any other official record systems. Fit personnel with hearing protection approved for use by Department of War (DoW) personnel. Refer individuals identified via hearing exams for diagnostic examinations by the audiologist. Instruct personnel who fail hearing tests on procedures required for follow-up care. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as established policies, procedures and written instructions.
