Senior Internal Controls Officer

The incumbent serves as the Senior Internal Control Officer and as a senior internal controls officer for OCFO and EXIM, utilizing expert knowledge of internal controls, accounting, audit, and financial management principles and procedures in completing complex assignments. The incumbent collaborates with the Director to oversee the internal control compliance program. The incumbent provides mastery expertise and oversight for EXIM's and OCFO's comprehensive internal controls program, including the external audit life cycle process. The incumbent reviews, analyzes, modifies, and develops various EXIM's internal control policies, directives, procedures, and guidance to be used by headquarters and regional staff. The incumbent provides authoritative technical expertise to stakeholders at various levels concerning EXIM's internal control environment, accounting practices and financial reporting programs.
