Auditor (Information Technology/Performance)

The incumbent is a senior level performance auditor and information technology (IT) systems auditor within FCC OIG, responsible for conducting audits, inspections, and evaluations, and for overseeing the annual FISMA evaluation conducted by external contract auditors. Carries out agile work, as warranted, to maximize transparency around issues identified by audits, inspections, and evaluations. Conducts comprehensive program performance audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) to assist management with identifying waste, fraud, and abuse in FCC programs. Conducts inspections and evaluations of specialized areas in accordance with the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) Blue Book to evaluate FCC programs and to assist management in achieving efficiency in methods and procedures for improved control of various program areas.
