About the role
Process a full range of federal personnel actions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Review and evaluate personnel action requests, identifying discrepancies and determining appropriate corrective actions. Reconstruct employment histories and analyze personnel records to determine service computation dates, pay entitlements, and eligibility for HR programs. Provide guidance to managers, employees, and HR staff on recruitment and placement, pay administration, and personnel processing requirements. Utilize HR information systems (HRIS) to initiate, track, and complete personnel actions and maintain official employee records. Conduct quality assurance reviews, audits, and data analysis to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve HR processes. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of personnel actions and proper records management.
