About the role

Prepares and submits a wide variety of regular and recurring financial reports and data for management that includes the Area Director and Executive Director. Plans the accounts payable program, developing, revising and/or adapting accounting systems. Coordinates overall financial and budgetary objectives and policies of the organization. Collaborates with Service Unit Directors, Executive Director, and Area Director in the establishment and administration of personnel ceiling controls. Independently plans, performs, coordinates and schedules annual Operating Budget and Spend Plan. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on financial-related affairs. Provides financial technical assistance to Tribes pertaining to Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (ISDEAA), Title V assumed programs, functions, services and activities.
