About the role
In this role as a Assistant Director, you will be responsible for: Supervising team of accountants involved in accountant and audit investigations, including leading detailed reviews of audit workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation to identify potential violations of applicable laws and standards. Analyzing complex auditing and accounting issues involving significant audit deficiencies, financial restatements, independence failures, and noncompliance with professional standards. Providing technical guidance, drafting and review of written team work product, including auditing and accounting analyses that support enforcement recommendations. Leading and developing professional staff, including all aspects of managerial oversight and process improvement activities. Coordinating with attorneys, analysts, and other professionals throughout the enforcement process.
