Full-time, 40 hours/week Variable day shift Onsite, travel required $2,000 Sign on bonus [taxable] available Summary : The Regional Float Medical Assistant II role at Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) provides Proficient level clinical and administrative support to designated ACHP locations within a specified region on a rotating basis, for patients under the direction of a Provider and/or licensed Nurse and assist with training needs within scope. Responsibilities : Prepares patients for examination; takes and records vital signs; performs phlebotomy as needed; administers medications as directed by the Providers according to policy and procedure Collects data that contributes to the assessment and evaluation of individualized care and needs of assigned patients, including discharge plans, under the direction of the Licensed Nurse Collects, processes, and submits laboratory specimens in accordance with policy and procedure
