Physician Assistant

Independently perform a variety of direct heath care clinical duties. Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medication and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice for Physician Assistants. Perform a variety of physical examinations such as school, employment, sports, annual, retirement, discharge, reenlistment, disability separation or retirement, and other special physicals. Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members regarding treatment and medical care. Evaluate the total healthcare needs of patients and develop plans to meet patient needs. Analyze and interpret routine laboratory results.
